Mission District Convocation

Everyone is encouraged to attend the annual fall Mission District Convocation on Saturday, October 5, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., at Bethel Lutheran Church in Noblesville, IN. The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Carol Fryer, Mission Specialist for the North American Lutheran Church. This year’s theme is “Strength Through Christ”, and the focus will be Philippians 4:13 - “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” The day includes a breakout session led by Rev. Bill Moberly, founder and director of Awakening Lives to World Missions (ALWM), and a Mission District Youth Gathering led by Melanie Crapser. ...

Social Seniors

Social Seniors is focused on the "seniors" in our congregation to strengthen their community of faith by making new connections and friendships. The October outing will be a cruise on the Sweetbreeze, the authentic canal boat replica, downtown Fort Wayne at Promenade Park on Saturday, October 12, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. This is a guided tour with a lot of information about the history of Fort Wayne. The cost is $30.00 per person. The bus will be available and leave church at 12:15 p.m. We have 16 seats reserved so far. If we have more than 16 sign up, we will try to get more seats if available.
