Caroling Cheer Bus

Join us for three evenings filled with Christmas cheer and spirit as we board our own St. John’s Christmas Caroling Cheer Bus! The bus will leave St. John’s on Tuesday, December 5, 12, and 19 at 6:30 p.m. to sing Christmas Carols to our cherished church members. Christmas cookies, cocoa, and songbooks will be provided. Please join us as we celebrate this season of promise!

Sunday School Christmas Program

Sunday School Christmas Program Please join us in the sanctuary at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, December 17th, for our Children's Christmas Program. The children have been working hard to spread Christmas cheer this holiday season! Refreshments in the Narthex will follow our program. There will be no 9:15 a.m. Traditional Service on this Sunday.

Friend Sunday

Who are the people you love? Who are the friends and family, neighbors and co-workers you want to be nice to? Who are the people you are praying would come to faith in Jesus? Ask them to join us for a morning of worship on December 10.

Worship Schedule for Christmas

This year, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on Sundays. Due to this, service times on those two Sundays will be different. On Sunday, December 24, we will have only one morning service time at 9:15. This will be a Traditional service. On Sunday, December 31, we will only have two service times at 7:45 and 9:15 a.m. These will be Carolfest services.

St. John’s Blood Drive

St. John’s will be hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, December 11 from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. To schedule an appointment, please sign-up on the sheet in the narthex, contact the church office, or visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code ‘stjohnlktwp’. Save a life! Give blood!

Lent and Easter

The Lenten Season will begin with Ash Wednesday on February 22.  We will have a special communion service begining at 7:00 p.m. with imposition of ashes.  During lent we will hold services each Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.  Before service each Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.,  the MYFROG group and their parents will be serving a simple supper.  Holy Week will begin with Palm Sunday on April 2 and conclude with Easter, Sunday April 9.
